Celebrating 65 years of service to the communities of Ajax and Pickering, The Salvation Army’s Hope Church and Community Services is ready to kick off its annual Kettle Drive beginning November 19th.

Covid-19 has increased demand at our Food Bank, as well as families applying for Christmas toys and food hampers. Members of the APBOT are invited to make this year’s Kettle Campaign a success in these challenging times. All Kettle funds raised locally, stay local.

We are in need of volunteers to stand with our contactless pay Kettles with PPE provided. Shifts are only 2 hours and most locations are indoors. Please contact Bob Smith at bob.smith@salvationarmy.org. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be partnered with a parent/guardian.

Please also mark your calendar for Sunday, November 29th for Turkey Drive Day where we invite you to come by our 122 Hunt St. location and donate a turkey for a family in need this Christmas and hear some great music of the season as you drive through and drop off.

For more information on how your business can participate in Kettle Season, please contact Captain Jason Sabourin at Jason.sabourin@salvationarmy.org.
