Greetings!

This summer, we celebrate our teachers and students who have faced the most challenging year in our lifetime. We wish them respite and recovery, a time for rejuvenation and preparation for the coming academic year. We wish the very best for you too.

Upcoming Lumenary, María Saldaña

Ms. Saldaña teaches English at Lennox Middle School. Herself a product of the very same school district, María shares her passion for reading with students in an after-school book club, engaging in issues of social justice, poverty, racism, gender identity, and other timely important themes.

We are excited to share more about our next Lumenary in the month ahead.

The Little Free Library for Ms. Dudley and 156th Street Elementary School is built. We plan to install the LFL in late summer, just in time for students and the community to enjoy when school opens again in the fall. View the full update here.
