The construction of the new USA headquarters in Cedarburg, Wisconsin is evolving! Since construction started in November, the exterior walls, roof installation, and site rough grading have been complete. Internal work teams are planning the operations and office moves for the three existing sites. "We are integrating WILO's future office concepts into our new facility to make it a comfortable and productive work environment. These concepts include best practices in innovation, well-being, and flexibility,” said Jeff Schopp, Senior Project Manager.
Construction is on track to start moving in November 2021. We are looking forward to our new building!

We are excited to receive the LEED Gold certification for the "Pioneer Cube" administration office building in Dortmund, Germany. The U.S. Green Building Council rated the Wilo energy concept as particularly positive on how its annual energy consumption had successfully fallen 53% below the consumption of the LEED reference buildings.
The use of environmentally friendly and low-emission building materials was also highlighted and ensures the health of the building occupants through the guaranteed indoor air quality.

In the last 12 months, we have completed the planned migration of the TR and FA test stations to the Collierville, Tennessee test facility while maintaining our daily requirements for the performance testing of the American-Marsh products. We have been able to test over 50 TR pumps and 7 FA’s since January 25. |

Scot Pump has been continuing its Lean Manufacturing Transformation Journey the past few months. Following the MJ5 Kaizen in February were the Marine Line in March, and most recently, the MJM line in early April.
In addition to the new cell layout to implement one-piece flow assembly, material flow, and eliminate all safety hazards, a primary objective is to remove excess material, increase floor space, and improve step reduction. Another goal for the ongoing project is to increase education on Lean transformation and Kaizens.

We are providing every HVAC pump in the building, which includes four fire suppression pumping systems, eleven mechanical pumping systems, and five plumbing pumping systems, totaling over fifty pumps. |

WILO USA LLC and our representative, Letts Van Kirk were selected through a design build process to provide 36 of the WILO gear driven mixers at The National Beef Plant in Liberal, Kansas. These were installed in the summer of 2020 and will be starting up this month. |

At New England University, a competitor’s high head, high flow vertical turbine pump system installed in 2007 began deteriorating, resulting in increased maintenance and service costs over time. With our representatives at Gustavo Preston Company and following a careful design review, the University selected a Wilo Vertical Multistage Booster System built by Weil as the new replacement. The booster installation went smoothly and is up and running, leaving one satisfied customer! |

After two and one-half years serving as CFO of WILO USA LLC and living in the States, Daniel Podgorny is returning home to Dortmund and Wilo Group.
“Looking back, I have to say that these last few years were my best years in my professional career ever so far," Podgorny said. "From a personal perspective, I can say I learned and accomplished a lot. My biggest takeaway is coming from Group and working locally are two completely different things. Bridging those two worlds is fascinating, sometimes exhausting, and most joyful. What amazed me is that WILO USA and its brands Wilo, Weil, Scot, and now American-Marsh too, is such an amazing, agile powerhouse! I am so proud to say that I was a part of WILO USA, one company, four great brands! And not to mention Wilo Machine, our inhouse machining power center.”
