News from DAAD USA
Stay up to date on DAAD's activities in the US - from news about scholarship programs to opportunities for study and research in Germany.

Last Chance - Monday is the Last Day to Submit Your Photos!

The 2022 DAAD Photo Contest is your chance to win a roundtrip ticket to Germany, an online language course at the Goethe-Institut, or a gift card to Germandeli.com!

This year's theme is #SeeingDouble. From 9/9 to 10/10, submit a photo of a place or thing in your community in the US or Canada that has a German Doppelgänger, like the Wonder Wheel in New York's Coney Island and its Doppelgänger, the Willenborg Ferris Wheel at Munich's Oktoberfest. The top submissions will advance to the Voting Round on 10/14, and the three entries with the most votes will win a prize! To enter, you must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program in the US or Canada.

Visit the contest website to read the official rules and submit your photos! And be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see more Doppelgänger pairs!
