CAR(bon) FREE Gohio Commute Challenge

Celebrate National Bike Month by replacing a drive to work, school, shopping or other destinations with a bike ride, and – BONUS! - log your trips at gohiocommute.com to compete for prizes!

The CAR(bon) FREE Challenge will take place May 1 - May 31. You are automatically entered into the challenge by logging any non-drive alone trip on Gohio Commute throughout the month of May. Up to four trips per day can be logged, and telework commutes count. Every week, there will be random raffle drawings for those logging trips. There will also be grand prizes for those who log the most trips at the end of the month. Learn more on the Gohio Commute challenge page.
May is National Bike Month!

While we support biking all months of the year, like many people, your bike may have been in storage for the last few months. May, the first month of biking season, is an especially good time to dust off your wheels and spend some quality time on your bike.

Check out Bike Cleveland's page for local bike month events. Highlights include the St. Clair Community Bike Ride on May 15, National 'Bike to Somewhere' Day (perhaps in lieu of 'to work') on May 21, and of course, NOACA's CAR(bon) FREE Challenge all month long.
In case you missed it!
  • University Circle Inc. and the University Circle Police department held the second of four Pedestrian Safety Advisory Community meetings planned for this year on Tuesday, April 27. View the recording here.
  • If you notice debris or other hazards in the bike lane, call the City of Cleveland's 3-1-1 answer line to report it. The 3-1-1 answer line is active weekdays during busy hours.
