Dear Seabrook Island Club Members,

I am pleased to announce that after an extensive and exhaustive search and recruiting process, Laura Ferreira has been offered and has accepted the role of Seabrook Island Club's Director of Racquet Sports! Since joining the Seabrook Island Club team in 2017, Laura has continued to show enthusiasm, dedication, creativity, and a strong drive to promote and grow racquet sports within our community. Her extensive coaching and playing experience, coupled with her exceptional leadership skills made her stand out among an incredibly diverse and talented field of candidates. Over 100 resumes were received from across the country for this highly-coveted position, with each being closely reviewed by the Search Committee. Following an extensive interview process of wonderfully talented professionals, it was clear that our own Laura Ferreira was the top candidate.  While many of Laura's attributes make her more than qualified for this new challenge in her career, her experience, interview, and her time leading the Racquet Sports Department in her interim role over the past six weeks, proved that her Seabrook Island Club experience combined with her fresh take and revitalized vision made her the top candidate of choice.  I hope you are as excited for Seabrook Island Club, our Racquet Sports program, and for Laura as we are.  Congratulations, Laura Ferreira!
