Spring is in the air, and college acceptance letters are in the mail. It’s that happy time of year when LEAP’s graduating seniors make their decisions about the next step in their academic journeys. After a year of unprecedented disruptions in all aspects of our lives, but especially for our students, seeing those letters arrive in students’ hands is a welcome return to normalcy.
I have always had a passion for medicine. Nursing will allow me to be close to my patients. I want to motivate them and help save lives."
Edson’s hard work and determination, coupled with his passion for his chosen field, are a few of the reasons LEAP is so proud of him. We congratulate him on his graduation and wish him all success as he studies to become a nurse.
“Thank you to LEAP staff Vicky Tzortzis, Teen Center Associate Coordinator, and Elvin Merino, College Success Program Site Coordinator in Peabody, for helping me with all my college essays.”
The Teen Center offers afterschool programs for local teens including free academic support, academic enrichment, and civic and community engagement in a supportive environment. The College Success Program provides students with high-quality, educational, and advisory services for career exploration, college preparation, admission, and college success.
