Camp Update:

We are closing in on the end of June. Usually, we would be preparing for Legacy Camp, our Annual Information Night and our Opening Day Celebrations. But, nothing is "usual" and I think we can all agree it has been a long three months of self-isolation, closures and changes to our way of life.

Thankfully, we have been able to open the camp for our leaseholders, and as of June 22nd we will now be to rent our campsites and accommodations. We have also been able to start the process to open the pool.

There will be changes to the way we are able to function this summer, but we are glad that we are able to open at all and we are willing to do our best to comply with all government and public health guidelines.

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to walk through the best way to open, while still creating a safe environment for our staff, leaseholders and guests.

Please remember that Ontario remains in a State of Emergency and that under the "Framework for Reopening our Province - Stage 2" private campgrounds may open for camping, but;

"Campers must adhere to social gathering size restrictions and maintain two-metre physical distancing with people outside their household and when outside of their campsites."

That said, we are happy to say that although Family Camp programs have been cancelled, we will be able to offer modified activities for leaseholders and those renting beginning the week of June 29th.

Below you will see some changes on the way Braeside will function due to COVID-19 and ways you can help. If you have any questions email or call the office for further clarification.

We will continue to "SEE" all the ways that Lord has been good to us and trust Him to guide us this summer!

Looking forward to seeing you a camp!

We have started the process of opening the pool - YAY!  The number of people allowed in the pool at one time will be reduced, and there will be scheduled swim times and health screening - but we will be open when the health department gives us the green light!
Leaseholders and those renting camp accommodations will receive a pool pass. Guests of leaseholders and renters will be able to register and swim at a cost of $2.50 per person ages 6 and up. More details will be unfolded as we work with our health inspector.

The dining hall will  not  be open this summer, but the tuck shop is open and there will be some exciting changes, like daily specials, breakfast-on-the-go and take-out dinners you can purchase for you and your family.
We have been working hard to get the camp cleaned up, but we can use your help! If you can help on Wednesday, June 24th please let us know! Lunch will be provided at the tuck shop for those who have signed up!

Many of you have received a parking pass valid for the season. As we open for rentals we will be manning the front gate daily.

We are doing this to protect staff, leaseholders and guests.  This is the only way we can monitor who is on the campgrounds and to ensure we can provide contact tracing to the Public Health Unit should an outbreak of COVID-19 occur at the camp.

As leaseholders you may have guests, but guests need to register, and be limited to allowable social gathering numbers .
Overnight guests will need a visitor parking pass for the duration of their stay.

If you desire to rent your cottage or trailer, you will need to fill out the form attached.

Make sure that you have the Braeside App! That way you won't miss what is happening this July, Tuck Shop & Pool hours and specials and much more!
