A special message from
the new SGA President
Hey Vikes!

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the incredible team of student leaders who have been elected as your representatives for the coming year!
Our President is Marty Barnard, a first-year graduate student pursuing his MBA with five years of experience in several student organization Executive Board positions at CSU.
Our esteemed Vice President is Samira Xhaferi, a Junior Biology and Medical Technology Major who works with Health & Wellness Services to promote mental health resources on campus.
Our Secretary is none other than Juan Munoz, a sophomore Film & Media Arts Major who serves as the Vice President of Communications in Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Our Treasurer is Nina Faisal, a sophomore Speech and Hearing Major who is highly involved with CSU's international student community. You will be working with Nina next year as it pertains to SGA funding requests.
We are here to advocate for quality change for every Viking in our community, and we will need your help this coming year. Our main priorities include enhancing university communication practices, promoting mental health awareness, revising the campus space reservation policies, and advocating for further diversity and inclusion at all levels in our community. What are your priorities and goals as a Cleveland State? How can we provide a life-changing experience for you?

If you want to get more bang for your buck at CSU, come along and join us as we transform the Viking experience next year. From grad to undergrad, international to domestic, resident to commuter, and academic to athlete, we will represent the interests of all students. That's just what happens when we all #VikesUnite!

See you around, Vikes!

Sincerely,

Marty Barnard
