As I sit here in my office on this rainy Sunday morning thinking about my topic for this email, a couple of things come to mind.
On the positive side, I have had a bunch of comments from realtors and brokers that things are picking up. Multiple offer situations are more common. So, that's good.
Conveyancers in real estate offices tell me they are run ragged. Maybe it's pent-up demand or maybe the economy is improving but in a business like ours, we all need new deals every month. Busy is good!
On the, 'Did you know?' side of things, I help out with commissioning/notarizing of documents. Dower release has been a big one over the last while. If you or your clients have a document or two that need my stamp and seal, I'm happy to help, no charge.
