Announcing our March Member Spotlight - Nicole Adewale
Nicole Adewale, LEED AP,
Co-Founder of ABNA, Principal and Director of Business Development
Lifelong Member of NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers)
USGBC-MGC Member since 2009
Sustainability passion: Water! I'm passionate about systems that ensure the sustainability of clean, potable drinking water, essential to our human health.

Most meaningful experience with USGBC: Working on the USGBC-MGC Education Committee!

What will most impact the future of green building: Advancement of Zero Waste practices and the operations and maintenance of buildings.

Favorite LEED Project: Novus International. They really implemented a whole systems approach, creating a community within the Novus campus that allows workers to relax, exercise, and enjoy nature, especially the bees.

Favorite place in the St. Louis region: It will have to be a tossup between Forest Park and the UCity Loop. Growing up walking to the Loop, I now walk from my own home and I still love all the stores, the farmer's market, people, and music that brings everyone together.
