Burn Ban in Effect
Due to easily ignited growth in the spring, a full burn ban is implemented during the month of April each year. This ban is for all open air burning including recreational burning.
Please contact the Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief if you require any additional information regarding open air burning on our website.
COVID-19 Vaccines
The Region of Durham COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics are by appointment only. As per Ministry of Health guidance, COVID-19 vaccinations can only be given to the following priority populations at this time.

Select pharmacies in Brock are booking appointments for AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines for eligible people ages 55 or older in 2021.
Loanable Hotspots Available at Brock Public Libraries
To assist those in our community who do not have access to high-speed Internet services at home, Brock Libraries has introduced a new Wi-Fi hotspot lending program which allows adult cardholders to borrow a portable Wi-Fi hotspot for 2 day loans. 
Attention all Golf Enthusiasts
The Township of Brock is pleased to announce we are planning to hold our annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 in compliance with COVID 19 restrictions. This date has been changed from the previous date set in June.
We welcome all golfers, sponsors and donors to participate in our 22nd Charity Golf Tournament to be held at Cedarhurst Golf Club near Beaverton with the proceeds going to youth programs in Brock.

Provide Your Comments as the Region Updates the Official Plan
The Durham Region Planning Department is currently reviewing and updating the Regional Official Plan, Envision Durham. Many key areas are being reviewed, including how to protect our land and resources, how and where our towns and cities grow, what housing and job opportunities are needed, and how people are moving across the region and beyond.
Durham Region Employer Survey
Are you an employer in Durham Region? Have your voice heard by completing the Durham Region Employer Survey. The Durham Workforce Authority and the Social Research Centre at Ontario Tech University have worked collaboratively to develop a survey that will help fill substantial gaps in labour market information and lead to a better understanding of the skills and needs of local businesses. The survey touches on topics such as attraction and retention of employees, skillsets required, industry outlook, and the overall business climate in Durham Region.

Facebook Live Tours With Durham Region Farmers
Durham Region farmers will offer behind-the-scenes virtual farm tours throughout 2021. Each tour will be hosted by a farmer and will share a beyond the farm gate view of many different types of farms.

AgriStability Enrollment Deadline Extended
AgriStability, one of the federal business risk management programs, has extended the deadline to enroll in the program to June 30th, 2021. AgriStability offers support to farmers who have experienced income/margin reductions of more than 30%.
