It’s Easter Bunny time!!! Outreach is gearing up to make Easter a happy holiday for local children who may not otherwise receive a visit from the Easter Bunny. On Sunday, March 7th, we will be collecting Easter baskets, Easter candy and small toys in the church parking lot from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. In addition, we will be collecting new and gently used children’s springtime clothing.

Keeper of the Light
There is a light at St. Martin's that never goes out. We call it the "Sanctuary Light". It reminds us of the presence of Christ who is with us always. During this time when we are not able to be in our building, members of the parish have been taking turns caring for the light in their own home and then passing it on to another member for the next week, until we can all be together again in the church building. If you would like to be the "Keeper of the Light" for a week, email Philip with the subject "Candle" at philip.muniz@gmail.com.

Changes to the Church Office
Jennifer Fraley is no longer working as the parish administrator (her last day is actually this Friday) and we wish her well. For the time being, due to the large deficit in the 2021 budget, a new parish administrator will not be hired. We are hopeful that a new one may be in place in 2022, as we begin to recover more from the pandemic. In the meantime, Yvonne Comeau will be volunteering in the office on Monday mornings, and Barbara Butler will be volunteering on Friday mornings. Please let them know how grateful we are for their service to the parish.
If you need to contact Father Rob, please feel free to email him (rectorstmartinsnj@gmail.com) directly, or call/text him on his cell (336.264.5185). As the office remains open part-time, this is the best way to ensure that he gets your message in a timely manner.
A new cleaning person has also been hired. Iveth Rodriguez has been contracted by the school since September, as has done a remarkable job keeping the school clean. Beginning this weekend, she will also clean the church and parish offices on a weekly basis.
