The Town would like to thank their partners on this project, AQUA Engineering, LGI Homes, Rick and Elizabeth Mitchel, Terramax Consulting, Dan's Custom Construction and the Department of Local Affairs for their efforts in making this project a successful one.

Artist Jayson Fann Partners with Anythink Bennett to Bring New Art to the Community
Anythink Libraries and artist, Jayson Fann, have partnered to create outdoor sculptures for communities throughout Adams County, including Bennett.

Anythink will be working with Fann to create spirit nests. These sculptures are made from local reclaimed materials. Fann will be collecting materials and foraging for wood to use for the project from areas around Bennett from June 29 – July 2, 2021.

On Thursday, July 1, 2021, Anythink is hosting an interactive art workshop so residents can learn more about Fann’s artistic process. This class is appropriate for all ages and families are encouraged to participate.

Fann will be constructing the spirit nest at Anythink Bennett from July 6 – 10, 2021. Residents are encouraged to help in the creation of the outdoor art project during these days.

Anythink is also hosting an open house on July 9th from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. to give area residents an additional opportunity to meet the artist and participate in the creation of the spirit nest.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this interactive art project to the Bennett community,” said Anythink Bennett Branch Manager Whitney Oakley. “It is exciting that we can all participate to create something beautiful for Bennett.”
