Hello BVC!

We have decided to start gathering again THIS SUNDAY 5/24/2020.  This comes in light of the fact that  President Trump announced yesterday he was declaring churches essential and asking governors to facilitate the opening of churches this weekend.  If you would like more detail on our decision making, please click here to view Pastor Kevin's video from last night.

We have decided it would be wise to meet outside this Sunday and we hope it will go toward minimizing hesitations anyone might have as we gather again.  It will also help facilitate keeping distance between rows.  Here are the details:
  • Services will be at 9am and 10:45am.
  • Service will be 1 hour long with a little less singing.
  • We will meet in the far end of the parking lot.
  • Half of the upper parking lot and the lower dirt lot will be available for parking.
  • There will be some shade canopies set up.
  • There will be no childcare, sunday school or youth service.
  • We will have an offering station instead of passing offering bags.
  • We will take communion at stations one family at a time.
  • We will have hand sanitizer available, will be doing extra disinfecting, and will have rows of chairs spaced 6ft apart.
  • If you or someone in your family is sick or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home.
  • If you feel that it is an unwise risk for you or your family to gather with us on Sunday, we completely respect and trust your judgement.
If you can't make it or prefer to continue following 'stay-at-home' advice, the service will still be on Facebook Live at 9am.  You can watch on our Facebook page if you have been doing that or you can watch at  www.bearvalleychurch.org/live .  On a mobile device, the facebook app will probably work much better than a mobile browser.

The publisher of our Sunday school curriculum has made all the Spring lessons available for download.  Click the picture on the right to view a folder with the class folders listed and the lessons for each week inside.  This week we would be on lesson 11.

Giving
