As we navigate through our new normal of virtual learning and living at a distance, we understand our schools are facing many new challenges. Entourage is committed to making your yearbook process as simple and easy as possible with the use of new resources and technology!

Looking for even more ways to make your project customized to your school or organization? With the use of custom colors you can implement your exact school color or match a specific design theme you had in mind.

In this hint you will learn how to create and save a custom color as well as make a gradient fill.

LINK yearbooks is a digital yearbook platform that allows you to interact with your yearbook on all your smart devices.

Users can view yearbooks, and sign each other’s yearbooks all online!

To create a custom color first open any page in the designer.

Click on the paint bucket or border tool on the top toolbar to access the color picker.


To create a new color, select the plus sign ( + )

to edit an existing custom color, click the pencil.
To create a gradient fill, first place a Shape with the shape button in the designer or select an already existing shape on your page.

Once selected click on the Frame Settings tab on the right hand side of the designer. Make sure Fill is selected and choose Custom from the color drop down menu.

Hit Edit to open the color picker.


Change the drop down menu to Gradient and you can create your own custom gradient!
Once inside the gradient tool you can select 2 colors to create a gradient with the option to change the shape of the gradient and the location and angle of the colors.

** You cannot save a gradient color or use a gradient on text **
