Dear Colleagues,
A number of you have started asking for
guidelines for re-opening your church when the time comes.
Given Gov. Wolf’s plan, we know that some churches may re-open prior to others. Churches re-opening will depend on a number of factors. The process will include thinking about communion, offering, greeters, seating in the sanctuary, choirs, and more.
(Additionally, it is possible that we will remain restricted to small group gatherings into the summer. This particular aspect of re-opening has not yet been shared by the Governor’s office.)
That being said, we have heard your request for information so that you can begin to think through the process of re-opening. This process is complicated and to that end we are hosting four zoom events,
designed for clergy and consistory leaders
, arranged by location.
