Save the dates for this year's BGAV annual meeting - to be held virtually on Monday, November 9 (evening worship celebration) and Tuesday, November 10 (breakouts and other opportunities)!
Our keynote speaker for this online gathering will be NT Wright. Wright is one of the foremost New Testament scholars with an unparalleled ability to interpret and apply scripture in a way that reaches through the local church to engage society as a whole.
Music will include a preview from singer/songwriter Kate Campbell, who will join us fully at our 2021 Annual Meeting in Hampton, VA.

BGAV's Missio Alliance Announces Lisa Rodriguez-Watson as New National Director
Dr. Wayne D. Faison, Staff Coordinator of the Growth-Venture Development Team of the Baptist General Association (BGAV) is pleased to announce that Lisa Rodriguez-Watson will become the new National Director for Missio Alliance effective July 27, 2020. This position was previously held by J.R. Rozko for the past 8 1/2 years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank J.R. for his leadership and passion to serve.
As Lisa prepares to lead Missio Alliance into the future, she brings with her years of experience, knowledge, and service. Lisa most recently served in a leadership role with the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). She is a graduate of Golden Gate Seminary with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Ministry and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. Lisa brings a proven track record of success in the areas of social justice, advocacy, and other humanitarian causes, which will be invaluable to the leading edge of Missio Alliance. Lisa will be responsible for leading a national strategy, curating global partnerships, and championing the voices of those living in the margins and peripheral of our communities.
We are confident that Lisa brings the right mix of energy, spiritual gifts, and passion to her new position as she continues to be a powerful asset for God’s Kingdom. Please join me in welcoming Lisa to the BGAV.
