-Friends store is temporarily closed. No donations accepted.
-No puzzle exchange table.
-No seating inside the library available.
Computer Use
All computer use will be by appointment only for a 30 minute time limit. Appointments must be scheduled by phone: 248-846-6550.
Printing: Just need something printed? We can do that for you! Call the reference desk at 248-846-6554 for details.
State of Michigan Safety Guidelines
The library must follow state guidelines for retail, libraries and museums. These guidelines include the following protocols:
-Social distance from others. Markings on the floor will indicate where to stand for checkout. Please wait your turn to go in aisles if someone is already there.
-Signage will indicate that face coverings are required.
-Plexiglas dividers at checkout desk and reference desk.
-Sanitizer will be stationed near the front of the library.
Returning Materials
-
Must use outside dropbox only. Do not bring any materials into the library for return (even if you have a question or concern about the item).
-All materials are quarantined for 3 days before they are checked in and returned to the shelf.
Note About Overdue Fines:
You may incur a temporary fine on your account that will be removed after several days. This is due to the quarantine of materials. We are doing our best to be safe and remove inappropriate fines. If you find fines on your account that should not be there, please wait 3 days before contacting us.
Inter-Library Loans
Starting July 6th, most of the libraries in The Library Network catalog will be participating in the inter-library loan delivery system. If there is an item that will not allow you to place a hold on it, please contact the reference desk and we will do our best to assist you.
MeL Statewide Borrowing: MeL interloans are not currently available. The start date for MeL loans is TBA.
Future Plans
All future plans are TBA. Further re-opening of services and areas of the library are subject to state guidelines and CDC recommendations.
