Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
GATHER!
Here are the ways we worship & join in fellowship together.

How wonderful to worship together in our sanctuary!
Worship Schedule
10 am in the Sanctuary or on Facebook Live.

This week’s scripture lesson is:
Jeremiah 8:18-9:1

Missed Church on Sunday? Want to hear the sermon again? Check out any sermons you missed here!

At this time, masks are optional; however, let us be mindful of the needs of those around us.  May we respect and love one another whether wearing a mask or going without. In the Sanctuary if someone is wearing a mask, please leave some space if you are not wearing one.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated."
Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!
Help with the "Dilworth's Future" video!
Following worship service this Sunday, you can be a part of Dilworth’s 125 Anniversary story! We would like to interview Dilworth Church members as a part of the “Dilworth’s Future” video, envisioning what the future of our church looks like and what that means to our members.

A camera will be set up outside the sanctuary on the front walkway; drop by for a few minutes to talk about your vision for Dilworth’s future! Here are a few things to think about in preparation,

  • What do you love most about Dilworth Church?
  • How long have you been a member?
  • What would you like for us to be celebrating in 5 years?
  • What do we need to continue doing to be a sign of God’s love for the world?
Brunch with the Pastors
Sunday, September 18th following worship. If you are new to Dilworth, have been here for a while, or have been here a really long time, and you would like to know about our church Pastors Michelle and Cade would love for you to join them for brunch. If you would like to know about church membership, baptism, or profession of faith, this brunch is for you too. If you come from another faith tradition and want to ask questions about Methodism, this brunch is for you too. If you want to know how you can become more involved, this brunch is for you too. All you need to do is show up ---- oh, and give us a heads up so we can make sure to have enough brunch munchies. Please either let one of the pastors know OR click here to sign up.
Open Door Class
Join the Open Door Class Sundays in the Multi-Purpose Room following worship service. All are welcome to join regardless of age and we are excited to see old and new faces! Speak with Elizabeth Turbyfill if you want to know more about this group.
COME JOIN THE HANDBELL CHOIR and make a joyful noise! Enjoy the fellowship of a great group of people while learning a new way to participate in our worship services. Must be able to read music but no handbell experience is needed. Practice is at 6-7 PM on Sundays starting this Sunday, September 18th. Please contact Katie McCraw (katiemccraw1@gmail.com) if interested.
Acolytes Wanted
The word acolyte means "helper" in Greek. We are looking for acolytes ages 8 and up to help light candles and assist with communion during worship. This is an important and fun way for kids to be a part of worship. There will be a training on Sept. 18th after worship. Sign up here if your child is interested.
Altar Flower Sign-Ups
If you would like to provide the altar flowers for Sunday Worship there are a few ways to sign-up to do so. If you are at the church, you can come by Madison Rubottom's office and use the sign-up sheet posted on her door. If you would prefer to sign-up online, here is the link to our altar flower sign-up genius.
