What a wonderful few day of beautiful weather we have had! I am thankful that I can still stand outside and greet the children in the mornings and the parents picking up students in the afternoons. I know there will come a time when I have to stand indoors for a while! That will make your car signs in the afternoons even more important – please make sure they are large enough and legible to be seen from a distance if needed.
This week we celebrated Discover Catholic Schools Week! The students have spent time considering everything they are thankful for and have written thank-you notes to various organizations. The toiletry collection for the Ozanam Center is wrapping up tomorrow. Please see the list for what each classroom is being asked to donate. Now, more than ever, we have to take care of our neighbor.
Thanksgiving is exactly two weeks away. Please take precautions if you will be gathering with people outside of your usual ‘bubble’. We trust that you will keep us informed in the case of exposure to any of your family members and will quarantine your children in that event. The Communion of Saints School population continues to be free of infection and that is in part thanks to you for the safety measures you are taking outside the school and on weekends.
Let us continue to pray for each other and for peace in the world!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Whiteley
