Congregational Meeting

To the Members and Friends of Presbyterian Church of Wyoming,
 
As was announced several weeks ago, the session has called a virtual congregational meeting for the purpose of calling a pastor this coming Sunday, June 7. Worship will begin at 10 a.m. The congregational meeting will begin at 11 a.m.  
 
The PNC is proud to introduce Revs. Anne and Gray Marshall as the nominees to be the next co-pastors at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming. Attached you will find an introduction to Anne and Gray Marshall as well as their terms of call.  
 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
ACCESSING THE JUNE 7 ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICE (10 a.m.) 
Go to:

Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pcwyoming 
or YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCWm9HijHg24wmvc2JJvXQsQ to view the worship service. The worship service will include recorded sermons given by Anne and Gray. Worship will conclude by 10:45 a.m. to give you time to switch from the worship to the congregational meeting.
 
If you don't have access to a computer and wish to listen to the service here is a conference call phone number you can call into to participate: 1-877-621-0220 & Participant Password: 112135# .
   
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
ACCESSING THE CONGREGATIONAL MEETING (11 a.m.) 
The congregational meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. To join the meeting, go to: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87052140550?pwd=TmlqRDQ5MHp1WmQ4UWF2Rm5RUlQrZz09 a few minutes early and wait to be allowed into the meeting. A member of the PNC will only allow PCW members to join the meeting. Password: 717098
 
Alternatively, you may call in to the meeting by dialing 1-646-558-8656 , and then entering the Meeting ID: 870 5214-0550 and Password: 717098
 
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOTING
Normally, a vote to call a pastor and accept his/her terms of call would be done using a paper ballot. Since paper ballots are not possible during a virtual congregational meeting, we have created three (3) ways in which you may vote. Please choose ONE of the following methods to cast your vote immediately following the recommendation from the PNC. Please remember that we are voting for motions.   
 
1. Approve/disapprove for our new Co-Pastors.
2. Approve/disapprove for disbanding the PNC.  
3. Approve/disapprove for our new 2020/2021 Nominating Committee.
 
Option 1 : Vote online.
Go to https://www.myvote.io/contest/5962868966031360 and simply select the blue "Vote" button beneath the photo of PCW, select "Approve" or "Disapprove," and then select "Submit." Its that easy! Voting is anonymous and secure.      
 
Option 2 : Send an email.
Send to [email protected]. In your email be sure to write whether you accept the terms of call for Anne and Gray Marshall and whether you vote to dissolve the PNC and write whether you accept the terms of call for the new 2020/2021 Nominating Committee Members.
 
Option 3 : Call in your vote.
Call the church office at 513-821-8735 .  A PNC member will be ready to take your vote! If that line is busy, you also may call or text 513-236-5525 (Matt's cell) or 513-368-8795 (Dee Dee's cell) .
 
During the congregational meeting, questions may be submitted by entering a question using the "Chat" function in Zoom. You may also submit your question in advance to Matt Fischer at [email protected] or text 513-236-5525 . Voting will be completed immediately following the recommendation of the PNC. There is a limited 30-minute time window ending at 11:30 a.m. for submitting your vote and the votes will be counted immediately after this time expires.
