CWHBA is at it again with E&M Consulting, Inc. to produce the Fall 2020 edition of the Membership Directory Home Resource & Buyer Guide!

WE NEED ALL MEMBERS TO REVIEW YOUR DIRECTORY LISTINGS FOR ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS BEFORE JUNE 30!
If you have updates to make on your listings and/or contact information, please contact us with those changes no later than June 30th.

E&M has recently been reaching out to members about advertising opportunities to promote your business or services in the directory, simultaneously supporting CWHBA. Please give E&M a moment of your time.

If you or someone at your business is fluent in Spanish, we’d like to recognize this!  In order to better meet the needs of our community, CWHBA has created a unique identifier for member listings who are able to support their customers in both English and Spanish.

2020 CWHBA Scholarship Deadline June 19th, 2020!
The Central Washington Home Builders Association is proud of its commitment to workforce development and education and is an enthusiastic supporter of students preparing for the future work force in the Building Industry.
Each year, CWHBA awards scholarships to local students furthering their education in the building industry or its related fields based on academic factors, applicant performance and career goals:

  • Two (2) $500 Education Program Scholarships
  • One (1) Cliff Tanasse Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship awards are for the upcoming academic school year. Checks will be issued to the school of record benefitting the recipient. Applications must be postmarked by June 19th, 2020.  Please help us get the word out and share with students who may be eligible!

2018 Energy Code Update Webinar

Online Webinar Training

The effective date of the 2018 Washington State Energy Code was recently postponed to November 1, 2020. CWHBA and Washington State University is hosting a two-hour live online new code requirement update for CWHBA members.

This training is designed for building department staff, builders, sub-contractors, architects, homeowners, and other building industry professionals. The training will include a question and answer session.
NAHB Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) and Universal Design Essentials Courses
Become a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and take the Universal Design Essentials course, now both available for a limited time in a virtual classroom. Through the months of June and July, Gail Stocks, founder and principal of EZ Way To Stay and NAHB approved instructor, is offering these courses in a virtual classroom at a substantial discount, $200. Registration Deadline is June 12.
