PILI Announces Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll & Pro Bono Recognition Roster
As part of our 2020 virtual Annual Pro Bono Reception, we introduced PILI’s Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll. Thank you to these volunteers for their pro bono work this past year!
We also recognized 47 law firms and corporations named to PILI's 2020 Pro Bono Recognition Roster whose substantial pro bono contributions are making a difference in addressing the legal needs of low-income and underrepresented Illinoisans!
Illinois Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal clinic where low-income Illinois residents can submit a question online to ask a lawyer for help with a legal issue. We're seeing an increase in questions during the COVID-19 Pandemic and need more volunteers to answer questions.Learn more.

On Thursday, May 28th, PILI welcomed summer 2020 PILI Law Student Interns and Graduate Fellows as well as other interns from public interest law organizations and government agencies. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, PILI hosted this year’s Orientation over Zoom. Over 130 law students and recent graduates logged in to learn how to better serve their clients and organizations this summer. Read more.
From June 15 to June 19, PILI hosted a virtual Annual Pro Bono Reception and released a video each day focused on increasing pro bono service during this time.
