DHS Launched Provider Enrollment for COVID-19 Vaccine Program - Health care providers encouraged to enroll as early as possible
Q: My organization is working to register and administer COVID-19 vaccine and we want to submit data via the data exchange. How do I establish my organization in the testing/review/validation data exchange que for COVID-19?
First, in order to get approval to administer COVID-19 vaccine in Wisconsin, your organization must complete the enrollment process.
The data exchange specifically regarding COVID-19 vaccination will be different than past implementations of vaccines, because of many different factors.
To submit data via data exchange, please send an email to DHSImmunizationProgram@dhs.wisconsin.gov with the subject of COVID-19 Data Exchange – <Organization Name> filling in the name of your organization. This will establish you in the testing/review/validation data exchange queue for COVID-19. If your organization is not established in the COVID-19 data exchange queue for COVID-19 and testing/review and validation do not occur then your organization will have to manually enter the COVID-19 vaccination administration information into WIR until testing/review/validation of your messages for COVID-19 can be established.
For COVID-specific vaccine administration, the November 9 WIR data exchange vaccine update GovD bulletin offers specific information to assist you in reviewing information you are currently submitting over to WIR. If you are not currently submitting, please work towards identifying those gaps and figuring the best way to capture the information within your system and send it via your existing current data exchange connection.
