All the Buzz....
We're All In This
TOGETHER!

Just sending some smiles!! Here are the triplets saying HI! They are three months old. Each has their own personality! Twins - Theo and Giles on the left and right. Harrison in the middle.
Rhonda and I miss all of our customers and we can't wait to see you again! Hopefully, we will be able to open soon. I have appreciated the emails and phone calls, checking up on us!

Rhonda is home while we are closed. I am coming to the shop daily, although I am not keeping regular hours. I have decided that it is best if I am not going between the shop and Lincoln, so I have had to give up on my duties as a babysitter. My son is working from home, my daughter-in-law is back working as a nurse. They are doing very well juggling work and three babies!

We hope that you and your families are healthy and are able to connect with each other. Our family is using an
app called "House Party". It is a free app and it allows all of us to have a video conversation at once. It has been a great way to keep an eye on all my Lincoln and Minnesota families.
I would also like to extend my thanks to you for shopping locally. Your community businesses need your support now more than ever! Stores may not be open to walk-in customers, but they are still able to do business, just in a more creative way!!

With the need for masks, scrubs, caps and more we have all jumped in to help meet the need for these critical items.

We've taken charge and have a new super power - sewing to help our healthcare workers, volunteers, essential workers and our family and friends.

U.S. health officials now recommend that all Americans wear cloth face masks in public to protect themselves and others during the coronavirus pandemic.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says Americans -- regardless of whether they're sick -- should wear fabric masks, not medical-grade respirators, which are desperately needed by doctors and nurses running short on supplies.
Here is some helpful information on wearing masks.
With our third Saturday Breakfast Club gatherings on hold, I thought it might be fun to share a couple of patterns for March and April. Moda Bake Shop has a sew-along featuring spring flowers!

This could make a great quilt or table top project. These would look great in some bright colored batiks, or spring prints. I bet you all have fabric just waiting to be used! If not, let us know and we can pick out some fabrics for you! Here are the March and April flowers, Just click on the button and find the pattern.
Let's continue our show and tell for all our quilter's.
Send us a photo of your projects or quilts.
We will post the photo in our next newsletter.
Be sure to send your name and any pattern information.

We may be looking at a June Drive-up Shop Hop this year. Watch for details, as we find a fun way for you to participate. Several of the shops, including Sew Bee It have not been open for Shop Hop, while other shops have. Shop Hop has been extended until June 30th. Always call ahead to check on the status of each store.

We selected the theme "Its the Bee's Knees". We're working on a Roaring 20's Photo Booth outside our door and a booth for pickup of quilt blocks and patterns.

Bee Sure - to check our website and watch for our newsletter updates. You can see all our "Bee's Knees" projects, and keep up with all the buzz!!
These were our main projects for the Roaring 20's Shop Hop. The first is in the gold and black shop hop fabric, the second is in multi colors as suggested as an alternative. We will have these ready for sale next week. If you would like to reserve a kit, just give us a call. Thanks.
