"To trust God in the light is nothing.
But trust him in the dark that is faith.
C .H. Spurgeon
Putting Our Lives in God's Hands
Life is full of unknowns. The path doesn't always lead where we may expect.
Have faith, explains Sister Marguerite Stewart, in this simple story about trust.
Stay-At-Home Silver Linings
Over the past few weeks, we have shared with you our Sisters' thoughts on prayer, downtime and even silver linings amid COVID-19. Soon we will share their thoughts on some new topics. Today, let's take one last look a few silver linings.
Have you found any silver linings in these strange times?

"I’m sure our Sisters miss their families and friends. I am blessed that I have been able to see my nephew and his wife online as they minister weekly at the Camden Diocesan Bishop’s Sunday Mass in New Jersey."
Sister Carol Ann Papp

Have you found any silver linings in these strange times?

"I know I will be grateful to God for some of the things that I took for granted in the past."
Sister Roselyn Kuzma

Have you found any silver linings in these strange times?

"I have learned to do things more leisurely. Things don't have to happen yesterday. I'm afraid it will be difficult to get back to routine and a schedule."
Sister Cecilia Jacko

Have you found any silver linings in these strange times?

"The quiet is refreshing, and I can easily talk with God."

Sister Dorothy Bucko
Go 'Green' with God
As more and more of our communities move to the "green" phase, our neighbors will return to churches, restaurants and storefronts all with caution.

Let us not forgot those among us who cannot return to life as usual due to compromised health or limited means. We encourage you to continue to reach out to them with a kind word or even a socially-distanced grocery dropoff. Let us also remember those who as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times have never faltered in their efforts to provide food, care and essential services without pause. Give thanks.

Before you go green, click here to hear the Batavia Madrigal Singers' rendition of The Lord Bless You & Keep You , as recommended by the retreat team at our St. Francis Center for Renewal.
As our our society slowly "reopens," Sister Bonnie Marie Kleinschuster reminds us all to wear face coverings out of respect for others.
A Geography Lesson
"A youngster wrote on his Geography quiz, 'The warmest weather is next to the Creator.' Geographically, he missed the target. Theologically, he was on spot. In this Pentecostal Season, we are on fire with the Spirit within us. We draw close to the loving Heart of Jesus and know that, no matter how many obstacles, setbacks or tribulations we experience, we are in the warm embrace of God’s loving care. Draw close to Him. Stay warm."
Sister Barbara Ann Webster
