Bocce Ball & Backpacks Tournament
Thanks to our sponsors and all who attended last month's Bocce Ball & Backpacks Tournament. Perfect weather, the chance to reconnect, and friendly competition all made for a great event. Most importantly, more than 200 backpacks were collected to be given to kids in need across our area - thanks to those who donated!

Sauk Columbia Chapter Golf Tournament
Thank you to our sponsors and those who attended this year's Sauk Columbia Golf Outing. It was a beautiful day, and more than $700 was raised to help provide school supplies to area kids in need. A special shout-out to the Chapter committee and Co-Chair Andi Anderson, who retired at the end of August, for putting together yet another great event!

RASCW Minority Scholarship - Shareable Brochure
For over 20 years, RASCW has supported diversity in real estate with our Minority Scholarship. We believe that with more minorities providing real estate services, there will be an increase in the acquisition of real estate by minority buyers, which will help build stronger and more diverse communities. This program helps achieve this by providing financial assistance and support to minorities who are interested in pursuing a career in real estate – recipients receive nearly $1,500 in waived start up fees and dues.
Click here for more information about the scholarship, including application instructions and testimonials from past recipients about how the scholarship impacted their career. Click the image on the right for a shareable and printable scholarship brochure. Please share this information with your offices and colleagues, and encourage any individuals you feel would benefit from this scholarship to apply.

Antitrust Resources & Reminders
The National Association of REALTORS® has made the news for multiple antitrust commission and MLS related lawsuits currently filed against them. In response to this and the conversations occurring around antitrust, NAR has expanded their related resource page to assist REALTORS® in those discussions and in effectively communicating their value as agents and that of the current MLS system. NAR has created a comprehensive list of message points to use as a guide, as well as a number of infographics you can use in your communication to help educate your clients and accurately represent your business, your value as a REALTOR®, and that of the entire real estate industry. Click here to access those resources. Additionally, NAR has created a short video that explains the basic principles of antitrust law to help REALTORS® avoid engaging in unlawful behavior. Click here to watch that video.
