BREAKING NEWS: Staff Testing Update

ISDH has agreed to facilitate testing at each facility to accomplish the universal staff testing initiative. This testing will be free to staff and the facility.

To help ISDH plan for this, a representative of ISDH will be reaching out today to all long-term facilities to ask which testing scenario they would prefer:
  1. ISDH will deliver the test kits and PPE to facilities who (using their own staff) would collect and store the samples. ISDH would then pick up the samples and deliver them to our partner lab.
  2. ISDH will schedule a day and time to do onsite sample collection of your staff. This would require all staff being present during a 4 hour window to be tested. Samples would then be delivered to our partner lab

In both of these scenarios, facilities would need to pre-register all staff using a web-based platform we will provide. Please be on the lookout for such a communication (either by phone or email).
