Pierre Daura’s Grape Pressing is a beautiful nod to the winemaking industry in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Lexington, VA resident's works are held by many prestigious museums, including the Virginia Museum of History and Culture and The Taubman Museum of Art.

Lynette L. Allston, from Drewryville, VA, is Chief and Chair of the Tribal Council of the Nottoway Indian Tribe of Virginia. She was announced president of the Virginia Museum of Fine Art's Board of Trustees in August 2022, becoming the first Native American person to hold this position in the 86-year history of the institution.

Punkin Lee, the First Lady and Joe Manchin present the Spirit of the Horse Award donation.

The First Lady joined Punkin Lee and Joe Manchin of the Upperville Colt & Horse Show to present the inaugural Spirit of the Horse Award donation to Sprout Therapeutic Riding & Education Center for the amount of $1,000.

Meet Merrill, the newest animal adoption to the Youngkin family! Merrill was adopted from Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue in Afton, VA. Hope's Legacy is the recipient of the July 2022 Spirit of Virginia Award.
