Happy 2022-and welcome to the 1st Edition of the DeBary Business Beat! This is our new e-newsletter created specifically for our businesses in DeBary, and includes news on places to be, new business celebrations, professional development opportunities, and relevant business information.

The City of DeBary has a sincere interest in seeing your business thrive, and we are looking for your input as we kick off the new year with our first ever business roundtable and brainstorming session. We invite you to attend and participate in this interactive discussion designed to help us take your feedback and create new resources for you. Due to space limitations, seating is limited to 25 attendees. A few seats still remain, so reserve yours now! The deadline for registration is Friday, January 14th.

Ribbon Cutting And Ride
To Celebrate The Newest Portion Of Our Trail System
On Friday January 21st we celebrate the completion of the West DeBary Spring to Spring section of the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop. Join us as at 11am as we celebrate the newest portion of our trail system in DeBary. We will meet in the west parking lot at Rob Sullivan Park, and then walk down to the trailhead on Highbanks. 

The St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance will also be hosting a ride that day in celebration of the event. The ride will start at 9:30 at Gemini Springs Park. It is free to participate in the ride, but registration is required. You can get more information and sign up here. here.

Get To Know Your Elected Officials
The DeBary City Council is composed of five members, including the Mayor. All members are part-time officials, non-partisan, and are elected at-large to represent the entire City rather than any particular area.

Regular City Council meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers at DeBary City Hall.
