Our EMTAR Expo was a Thriller!

Big thanks to all of the vendors and members who took part in our EMTAR Expo: Nightmare on EMTAR Street, October 5 at Farm Bureau Exposition center. From education to our booths, the day was a graveyard smash! A special shout-out to all who wowed us with your frightfully fun costumes.

Safety Course Provides Timely Insights

Our Safety Course on Sept. 26 was also a big hit. Thanks to the EMTAR members who took part in the course, which we offered as part of REALTOR^® Safety Month. Special thanks to Helene Cash with Agee & Johnson Realty and Auction for helping pull the course together, the Lebanon Police Dept. for hosting it, and Officers PJ Hardy (in photo, above center) and Matt Dedman.

TN Hits RPAC Fundraising Goal for 2022

*More text subscribers needed for President's Cup, Triple Crown*

Tennessee REALTORS^® announced that the state association has met its RPAC fundraising goal for 2022, with investments of more than $1,232,033 for the REALTORS^®Political Action Committee (RPAC). Big thanks to all of the EMTAR members who have helped to make this statewide success possible!

The only requirement remaining for the state to achieve NAR's RPAC Triple Crown and President's Cup distinctions is approximately 250 more subscribers to REALTOR^® Party Mobile Alerts. If you haven't yet done so, please text the word "REALTORS" to 30644 and you'll be signed up to receive periodic (rare) alerts prompting you to take action on legislative and regulatory issues relevant to REALTORS^® and property owners.

EMTAR sent dues notices last week. All members may pay online by logging into your account on the EMTAR site. As a reminder, NAR's Special Assessment for the Consumer Advertising Campaign was $35 for 2022 and will be $45 for 2023. In light of that, the total dues members pay will rise by $10 to cover the assessment.

You must now register your license number with CE Broker, the official CE tracking system of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC).
