A Special Message from the Economic Development Manager:
Ventura County Advancing to Red Tier
Greetings Thousand Oaks business community, 

Ventura County will be advancing to the State's (less restrictive) Red Tier, effective tomorrow Wednesday, March 17th.

Entering the State's Red Tier means less restrictions on certain indoor business operations and maximum capacity limits for a number of business operations. See details here.

Please be sure to consult the most current County Public Health Order here for any additional County-specific limitations.
All Businesses within the County of Ventura must register to be open for business. If you haven't already, please click here.
Also, a quick update on the County's Second COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program. This program will offer
$5,000 Grants Available for Eligible Businesses and Nonprofits.

An optional pre-registration will open on March 24th. The formal application period itself will open March 31st at 8am and close April 6th at 6pm. Please visit the County Grant Program website here for more details.
CA Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program - Rounds 4 and 5. Round 4 (specifically for non-profit cultural institutions) is open from March 16th - 23rd. Round 5 (currently waitlisted and new applicants) will open March 25th - 31st. See the website for details.
