"DANCE" 2 Samuel 6:12-18 | Dr. Randy Ashcraft

David danced before the Lord with all his might. He loved God and he wasn't afraid to show it. We might need to learn a few things from David. It’s ok to celebrate in the presence of God, but how do we express our praise and joy? One thing is for sure; David did not hold back nor was he controlled by what others thought. Would others know that you've experienced the love and grace of God through your enthusiasm and joy?

RESPOND THROUGH PRAYER O God, sustain us in the complexity of our humanity as you sustained David-- playing the harp of youth, throwing stones at giant problems, loving our friends beyond wisdom, dancing in worship, mourning children, breaking our hearts in psalms, and longing for warmth in our old bones. Amen.
