FMLY 5-11-21: Keeping Our Hearts Soft
Dear Ones,

Have you been fully vaccinated? That seems to be the question on so many of our lips these days. In today’s installment of “From My Living Room to Yours,” I caution us not to be judgmental about those who make a different decision around vaccination than our own. Like so many of our pandemic situations, we have to be careful that we don’t become judgmental in what can feel like righteous living.

Speaking of varying opinions, there are surely as many ideas about how we should proceed with our worship options as there are possibilities! So, as we prepare to enter into our construction project, we're exploring how to best meet the parish’s needs and we want to hear from you! Please complete our survey by May 17th by using the link in the message below.
P.S. I wish I had an update on the start date of our construction, but we are still awaiting permitting.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS
Please Complete a Worship Survey
Due by May 17
As we prepare to enter into our construction project, we're exploring how to best meet the parish’s needs in terms of worship and fellowship. Let your voice be heard by completing the survey by May 17th.
Come for Communion!
Sundays, 8:30 am & 10 am
With the lifting of restrictions and some creativity on behalf of your GRO Taskforce, we’re pleased to announce that we've added the distribution of communion (in bread only; using a host dispenser, 6’ away from the clergy) to our Outdoor and Drive-In Church services. Since space is limited at Drive-In Church, be sure to continue making reservations (since there's plenty of space in the sun yard, reservations are no longer required for Outdoor Church).
Temporary Office Space
We’re here to help!
In anticipation of the construction project, we have temporarily moved our offices to the Neighborhood Center (previous preschool). Our office team is still working remotely for the most part, so please schedule an appointment with Alison if you need to stop by the office. Currently, the front door is accessible, however, once construction starts, the only entry will be through the gate next to the showers shed (near the kitchen entry) and then through the side door. Either way, just knock when you arrive.

A special thank you this week to Carolyn Lee and Julian Betts who spent an hour helping restore all the mic and outlet cords to their proper places after Saturday’s funeral service. Because of their dedication, the online recordings will go smoothly again this week!
