I am caring for my mother who was diagnosed in 2006 with Wagner Granulomatosis. Some of my caring responsibilities include scheduling her appointments and keeping track of her medication. Due to her being on dialysis three times a week, I help her with meals, assist her with her medical equipment and support her financially to cover medical costs.
As her primary caregiver, I help her with her daily activities including bathing, walking, doctors’ visits and even translate for her when needed. Sometimes, when the days are nice, we go to the park to exercise. For 25 years, my mother has been battling health issues. At a young age, I helped her take care of my siblings and the household as she was in and out of the hospital. For all those years, I’ve been her caregiver and provide her with physical and emotional support.
