Dear Members,

Back to School! While Fall and Labor Day are the traditional indicators that summer and school are starting to get into full swing, it is also a reminder that summer vacation is over. Now would be a great time to consider a personal commitment to a continuing education program sponsored by NAB or presented by its members to invigorate our commitment to training and education. This month’s newsletter features a number of regional presentations. In additional, consider nominating someone for the Accelerated Route to Fellowship. Details are below.

Read about the latest arbitration case from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Jones Day v. Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. The Opinion of the Court is here.
Finally, a hearty congratulations to our six featured members this month for their accomplishments and featured profiles in our newsletter. Happy Labor Day everyone!

When participating in a program or event of another organization, please remember to include in event flyers and publications, if possible, your post-nominal designations such as FCIArb. In addition to showcasing credentials you have earned, doing so helps all members by raising recognition of CIArb and, by association with you, helping to demonstrate that CIArb members are highly qualified individuals who have been credentialed by what in our opinion is the world’s leading ADR credentialing organization.
