Gov. Kathy Hochul Visits Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy
to Announce New Report on Women in the Workplace
Gov. Kathy Hochul visited the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society at Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy on Aug. 26 to announce that she is commissioning the NYS Department of Labor to produce a report analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women in the workplace. UALBANY WELCOMES NEW GREAT DANES FOR FALL 2022 SEMESTER
Approximately 2,700 first-year students,1,000 transfer students and 1,520 new graduate students are joining the campus community this fall. Over the last several weeks, students have been arriving on campus, getting to know one another, and the community through multiple service projects.

UAlbany Football Hometown Heroes Game Set for Sept. 24
The University at Albany football team is set to host its annual Hometown Heroes game against Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) on Sept. 24. Local Hometown Heroes can have their name, or a loved one's name who has served in the military or as a first responder, displayed on the back of a UAlbany football player's helmets with a special decal.
