2020-2021 SEASON

The excitement is building as we near our 54 ^th season at the Rep! This season is all about putting our art to work, and using theater as a tool to tell some of the stories Montanans need to hear most. How, you ask? By bringing a different kind of theater to Montana—one with creative venues, news ways to experience theatre and purpose behind each play.

COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Our top priority is safety, and the wellbeing of our actors, staff, playgoers and community members. That means a few things:

Our live performances will have limited seating to allow for social distancing, so reserving tickets in advance is the only way to ensure a spot for each play.

Things can change rapidly due to COVID-19 , so we have created a virtual backup plan for each play in order to pivot as needed. Our backup plans even have a backup plan.

Most shows will include a ‘watch-from-home’ live-stream option for our patrons who aren’t ready to join us in person.

Your support is more important than ever! The pandemic has taken its toll on the arts community, but we won’t stop working to bring professional theater and powerful stories to the state of Montana. We know you will love the season we have planned, and we can make these plays a reality when our community stands behind us. Which brings us to the most important part… become a member!

SUPPORT MONTANA STORIES

We are still accepting submissions for our Indigenous Artist Commission, created in partnership with the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky. This commission comes with funds and support, in the form of a $10,000 award, a writer’s retreat in Big Sky, development with the Bitterroot Lab , and a guaranteed production in the Rep’s 2021-2022 season that will play in Missoula and then tour the state.
