We are deeply saddened at the passing of Tom R. Glover, a founding principal of GSB, Inc. (formerly Glover Smith Bode, Inc.). He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan in 1956. A prolific architect, Mr. Glover directed and produced the design of over 700 projects including work on convention center hotels, civic centers, educational facilities, industrial plants, military installations, churches, financial institutions, public buildings, parking structures, and office buildings. During his career, he worked in Oklahoma, throughout the United States and a number of foreign countries.

*    USPS Office and Courthouse Historic Restoration & Renovation (Oklahoma City, OK)

*    Center for Employee Development Marriott Conference Hotel (Norman, OK)

*    Marriott Wardman Park Hotel & Convention Center (Washington, D.C.)

*    Cleveland Marriott at Key Center (Cleveland, OH)

*    Horseshoe Bay Marriott Hotel & Conference Center (Horseshoe Bay, TX)

*    Wyndham Highlands Resort & Convention Center (Grand Prairie, TX)

*    Sheraton Suites Columbus Hotel (Columbus, OH)

*    Queen Anne Hotel & Casino (St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands)

Mr. Glover was an emeritus member of the American Institute of Architects and served the profession and the community by his involvement on a number of Boards and Committees. Even after his retirement from the company, he remained close to the GSB, Inc. office. Tom Glover is preceded in death by his wife Hyla and is survived by their three children, Kathy, David and Ryan.
