The Georgia Department of Education has created a survey for parents to provide their input about the weight these tests should have this school year.
The Statewide Passing Score currently states that the Georgia Milestones End-of-Course counts for 20% of a student’s final grade in a course requiring such test.
On Thursday, October 1, 2020, the State School Superintendent recommended the initiation of rulemaking procedures to change the weight of the End-of-Course test from 20% to .01% for the 2020-2021 school year.
The State Board of Education denied the State School Superintendent’s recommendation. In substitution, the State Board of Education initiated rulemaking procedures to change the weight of the End-of-Course test to 10% for the 2020-2021 school year.

Buford Soccer is excited to host the Inaugural 3v3 Winter Shootout. They look forward to hosting youth soccer players from around the area at the Buford High School stadium. Players from 1st through 8th grade are encouraged to participate. Boys and Girls brackets in each age division. In addition to great soccer, plan for great food and additional activities for both players and siblings.
