We stand in solidarity with Stevens students and offer our continued support, advocacy, educational opportunities and holistic care. We invite all students, faculty, staff, and alumni seeking resources and action steps to join together in community with Diversity Education in this vital work. We recognize the intersecting systems of oppression which impact each of our lives and maintain our commitment to liberation through education. Together we can create positive change, starting with ourselves and our communities. Together, we can contribute to a world where Black Lives Matter and we recognize the value and humanity of every member of our global community.

about diversity education
Diversity Education takes on many forms at Stevens including programs such as heritage months, awareness weeks, affinity luncheons, Safe Zone Ally training, facilitated discussions, workshops, and invited guest speakers. All programs are created through an intentionally intersectional lens. Through this programming, the Office of Undergraduate Student Life seeks to:

  • foster a deeper understanding of equity and inclusion
  • cultivate safe(r) spaces for all Stevens community members
  • empower Stevens students, faculty, and staff
