Welcome to Redeemer Life!
We are entering into a new and exciting season in the life of Redeemer!

From planning for the post-pandemic era to our visioning activities, our congregation is growing and evolving in new and different ways. Patience has been tested. Creativity has been elevated. And the words flexibility and agility have taken on new meaning as we remain laser-focused on our mission.

Barna Group CoLab
As we begin to increase the number of in-person gatherings, we recognize this as an important moment to utilize both physical and digital spaces to support and serve our Redeemer community. To guide us in the transition, our Ministry Team is participating in the Leading Hybrid Church CoLab, put on by the Barna Group. We’re using this time to be data informed in our decision-making as well as intentional in following the path God lays before us in this new era.

We want to invite YOU into this process! In partnership with Barna, we are deploying an assessment that we hope will provide insights into the experiences and wishes of our Redeemer community. We would love for you to take it so we can listen and learn from you!

It should take less than seven minutes of your time but will provide us with valuable insight that will inform future actions. All the data collected in this survey is anonymous, so feel free to be as honest and candid as you wish. Your responses will not be traced back to you, as we value your open feedback.

Thank you for your partnership as we enter the post-pandemic era. We are thankful to be on this journey with you and God -- and look forward to new opportunities to worship and grow together.

You have three choices for completing the assessment:

  • Simply go to this LINK.

  • Text REDEEMERALIVE to 90888 to start the assessment.

  • Scan this QR Code with your smartphone camera.
Thank you! We'll look forward to sharing the results in a few weeks.
Redeemer's Visioning Initiative

We hope you enjoyed last week's candid conversation with Visioning Task Force leaders Clyde Haase and Chuck Stocker. It is exciting to hear how God's plan led both men to Redeemer 50+ years ago and how His plan is still being revealed in new and exciting ways. The work Clyde and Chuck are doing as Visioning Task Force leads is invaluable. We hope you will join us on May 2 at 9:30 am or 11:30 am to learn more and interact with all of the Visioning Task Forces in person. You can register to attend at the LINK.

In this week's newsletter we are honored to introduce you to Bill DeReu and Laura Neidhold. Bill and his wife, Michelle, lead the Columbarium and Memorial Gardens Task Force. Laura is a leader on the Community Center and Green Space Task Force.

Both will take us behind the scenes to learn more about the personal journeys that led them to serve on the Visioning Committee. Again, our goals are to inspire you to ask questions, encourage you to get involved and of course, dream BIG about the possibilities.

Please enjoy our candid conversations with Bill and Laura.
Thank you, Bill and Laura for your service and inspiration. Jesus' light shines through you brightly! And thank you to Daniel Baker for your creativity and expert videography skills, helping us bring our visioning story to life.

If you missed last week's conversation with Clyde and Chuck you'll find it at the end of this newsletter. And again, we hope you will join the discussion on May 2. You can register here.

As always, we'd love to hear from you! Please feel free to submit your updates, stories, questions, photos, and videos to our Director of Marketing & Communications, Susan Baldwin at sbaldwin@redeemeralive.org. If appropriate and with your permission, we'll feature them here and/or on our social media channels.
A Message from...
 Senior Pastor Dave Noll
Happy Friday Friends...

Who else is excited to see the sunshine?!? Something about the sunshine, in the wake of a truly powerful Easter celebration, elevates the ENERGY around here.

This said we are working on some exciting projects behind the scenes and I need 7 minutes of your time.

Our whole Ministry Team is participating in a CoLab led by Barna. Barna is a national market research firm specializing in studying the religious beliefs and behavior of Americans, and the intersection of faith and culture.

For the next six weeks, our staff will be dedicating 2+ hours a week researching, learning and discussing the very current topic of the Hybrid Church. Something that Redeemer is living right now. Through this research we hope to both learn how effective we can be as a Hybrid Church (intermixing online and in-person) and at the same time ensure we have the right tools, knowledge and staff in place to be successful.

To maximize the impact of our investment, we need your participation. You are our number one priority when it comes to Worship, Outreach and Discipleship.

Please watch my video below and then I hope you will take a few minutes to complete the assessment. I've shared the links below.
Thank you for listening and now I invite you to complete the assessment. You have three convenient options:

  • Simply go to this LINK.

  • Text REDEEMERALIVE to 90888 to start the assessment.

  • Scan this QR Code with your smartphone camera.
We'll look forward to sharing the results in a few weeks.

Blessings,
~ Pastor Dave

Give-to Give-Sunday
Give-to-Give Sunday is on May 23rd this year! Please submit projects ideas and/or sign-up to volunteer at this LINK.

For those new to Redeemer, Give-to-Give Sunday is an awesome experience for all ages. It is a day when, as a Redeemer congregation, we 'do Church' out in the community. A morning of service -- living out the Word and healing presence of Jesus.

If you'd like to submit a service project, following are the criteria:
  • the project serves a person or family outside of our Redeemer family
  • the project can be completed by one or more volunteers in 3 hours or less

Projects to assist non-profit organizations are also welcome.

Please contact Doug Weinrich, Minister of Servant Leader Development, with any questions at dweinrich@redeemeralive.org or (509)926-6363.

p.s. If you personally need assistance, or know someone in our congregation who needs assistance, contact Doug and we'll get you assistance, just not on Give-to-Give Sunday.

A message from Erica Barton,
Director of Early Childhood Education and Children's Minister:
Kingdom Connection -- Weekend Experience
Please join us for our Kingdom Connection Weekend Experience.

Our Weekend Experience provides a simple way for parents to help their kids connect with their faith, Jesus and Redeemer while worshiping at home.

The curriculum is updated weekly and designed for children ages preschool to 5th grade (preteen). Each age group has its own lessons and activities. Similarly, we provide Parent Guides to help you maximize the experience for your family.

(Click on the image above to experience a sampling of Preschool curriculum)

You'll also find Parent Cues to equip you with what you need to know when you need to know it. We even provide a free mobile app so you can access information anytime, anywhere. You'll find the app on our website. You can also download it here.

While the past year has been full of twists and turns, and a lot of unknowns, the one constant has been Jesus. He's helped guide Redeemer's Ministry Team allowing us to consistently find the YESES. Our KC Weekend Experience is one of those YESES.

Please contact Erica Barton (ebarton@redeemeralive.org) with questions about our Children's Ministry program.
