Pledged Yet?
Our goal is $675,000 and our current total is $475,000.
1) Why are we doing this? a) So we can continue to provide our inspiring programming, services, and outreach in the coming year, and b) So we can figure out compensation for our amazing ministers and staff.
2) Why would we like your pledge info now? c) So we can plan for a) and b) above, and d) So we can prepare a coherent budget for approval at our Annual Congregational Meeting on June 13.
We hope you will join us in financially supporting our dynamic congregation for the coming fiscal year, 2021-22 (starts July 1, 2021) so we can continue to Seek the Spirit, Build Community, and Change the World!

Where Do We Go from Here?
All-Congregation Discussion on May 2 at 11:30 a.m.
As we finish up our congregational reading of Caste we hope you're planning to come to our church-wide meeting this Sunday, May 2nd, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, where we will reflect together on:
1. Our individual experiences reading Caste and the one or two take-aways we believe are most critical in terms of changed perspective and what we do as individuals moving forward.
2. How each of us and the institutions we are part of create and maintain hierarchies that give some groups more power than others. What might true structural change look like in these institutions?
3. How we can support one another in our shared 8th Principle commitment to journey "towards spiritual wholeness by creating a diverse, multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions."
To help enrich and guide our conversation, please click here to share (anonymously, if you wish) some of your reflections on these questions. Please respond by today (April 30th) in order for your reflections to be incorporated in the Sunday conversation. Later submissions are also welcome.

At last – Habitat Building Opportunity! Sign up to help in May
Habitat for Humanity has asked us to organize up to 10 builders on May 8, 15 or 22. The work will be painting and inside trim installation. Anyone (over 16) who would like to join the group for the day (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or half-day, please contact Barb Berggoetz, Habitat Task Force chair at barbberg (at) bluemarble.net. COVID precautions will be taken. Please respond with the date(s) you can build and your phone number, right away, as we need to pick the day the most people are available. We’re hoping for May 15.
