This is an opportunity to learn more about Days for Girls and see if your troop would like to volunteer or do a supply drive. More info below.

We're very excited about our Fall plans for the Service Unit.

Welcome Back Activity Fair

Sept 25th, 1-3pm

Learn about badges, journeys, awards and how community partners can contribute to your troop activities. Troops can also host a table if they would like to sell snacks, drinks or share an activity. Fun patch and prizes!

First Aid Training

Oct 23

This will include First Aid and may include CPR and "stop the bleed". More info coming...

Troop Showcase

Dec 4th

Troop Presentations. Troops are invited to present Bronze, Silver or Gold Award projects, or other community service projects, or just come to network.

Leader Snack & Dessert Potluck

Dec 8th

Get Involved with...Days for Girls

An organization helping advance menstruation health, dignity and opportunity for women and girls worldwide. This is a non-religious organization, with a strong focus on helping girls and women get back their "days" with an innovative solution.

Days for Girls services women and girls worldwide with four key pillars:

Menstruation kits - easy, discreet and washable solution

Health education - providing the information for both girls and boys to understand menstruation and reduce its stigma

Social entrepreneurship - encourages women to produce & sell kits in their local country

Advocacy - advance global menstrual equity

How Girl Scouts can help:

Assemble kits

Drives for panties, washcloths and other materials
