Lean on Me

"Sometimes in our lives
we all have pain
we all have sorrow
but if we are wise
we know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me
when you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
for it won't be long
'till I'm gonna need
somebody to lean on"

A Message From Our
Board of Directors
As we continue down the road of this unprecedented time battling the coronavirus outbreak, many of us are asking how we can help. As the former Chief Nurse of John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center, a former patient, and now the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the John Muir Health Foundation, I can tell you how vital your support is to John Muir Health. The importance of maintaining a world class health care system in our community is critically important. Keeping this valuable asset intact for our children and grandchildren is equally important. John Muir Health has an incredible group of physicians, nurses, support staff, and volunteers who are currently putting their lives on the line every day to care for us and now they need our support.

John Muir Health Foundation's Board of Directors has established this ShareGiveHealth fundraising page to support the outstanding work of our extraordinary John Muir Health care teams and ensure our commitment to improve the health of the communities we serve with quality and compassion . . .
NOW and for FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Please share with your circle of friends, family and loved ones and help us MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Sincerely,

On behalf of the John Muir Health Foundation Board of Directors,
Beverly A. Jones
Chairman
We are fortunate to have a supportive community willing to provide us donations, words of encouragement, and other thoughtful gestures as we continue to respond to COVID-19. The Foundation received several boxes of snacks for the night shift staff, a gift from the Monte Vista High School Lacrosse team, who chose to donate all of their snack shack items to show their appreciation for John Muir Health. They also produced this thoughtful tribute video showcasing letters written to our staff for their hard work and bravery during this time. You can watch the video  here .
Kieran and Michelle O'Connor deliver a full truckload of donated snack shack items for front line caregivers on behalf of the 2019-2020 Monte Vista Boys Lacrosse teams.
Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for all you do to make our community a better place!

Stay sheltered, stay safe, and stay healthy.

Your Friends at the John Muir Health Foundation,

together we can do so much"
