"Honest Moos" Promotes Truth About Dairy
We
know the public is unsure of what's fact and what's fiction when it comes to
dairy. In April, Must Be the Milk sponsored a dairy trivia contest called "Honest Moos" with advertising on
Boston's Kiss 108 ra

On Facebook people answered questions about cow care, environmental stewardship, and the nutrition of milk to enter to win a 2-night stay at Liberty Hill Farm in Vermont or a
n Undeniably Dairy prize pack.
The advertising reached 500,000 and drove people to learn more on the Must Be the Milk

Spring has been busy with farm tours! So far this year, we've taken over 300 people to local dairy farms including students from elementary to college level, school nutrition directors, dietitians and interns.
Our farm tour survey from these tours shows that after people visited a dairy farm their overall impression of dairy farming improved.
Helpful resources for farm tours from a farm tour workshop we recently co-facilitated can be found here. |
