PREPARATION
Have your list of sins you wrote during Station Four two days ago with you for this station.

PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I dedicate this time to you. I pray that you will meet me during this time. Open my spirit to hearing from you. My desire is to receive all that you have for me as I follow you to the cross. Amen.

SCRIPTURE

Luke 33:23-24
When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

REFLECTION
Take some time to meditate on the crucifixion of Jesus. Use the picture to draw you into the event. Why is Jesus allowing this?

ACTIVITY
After a time of meditation, take your list of sins from Station four, add to it now if you need, or if you do not still have the list. Figuratively, nail those sins to the cross by drawing a large cross across the page then crumple it up and throw it away.

Romans 6:6
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

PRAYER
Express your thoughts, feelings and commitments to Jesus in prayer. If you wish, write down your thoughts in a journal.
