GBCVB 26th Annual Golf Tournament July 28, 2021

We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating our 26th Annual GBVCB Golf Tourney on July 28th at the scenic Pinehills Golf Club! As our State announced fully opening the vaccine to all, it is the perfect time to safely be together for all to bear witness that we are BACK and ready to welcome…as only our Commonwealth can! In years past we have used the occasion for us to get together to help support a charitable cause. And while we will do so again this year, the emphasis will be more on ensuring that we can make this an affordable event allowing all that want to join to do so. GBCVB Virtual Open House: May 5th, 4:30 - 5:30pm

Join us on Wednesday, May 5th from 4:30 - 5:30pm for our next virtual Open House. City Winery Boston will introduce us to their winemaker Richard Jacob and take us on a virtual tour of their working urban winery. They will also share information about upcoming shows, live and virtual private event opportunities, and reintroduce Boston's only wine garden: City Winery on The Greenway, opening May 1. The Friends of the Public Garden tell us about upcoming events including virtual Duckling Day, the reopening of the beloved Swan Boats and the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial Unveiling. We will give a warm welcome to our new Member, Live Like a Local Boston Tours, who will tell us how to experience the food, history and culture of Boston’s Roxbury, Dorchester and Jamaica Plain neighborhoods.   Please register HERE in advance for this meeting. MCCA Grant Programs

2021 Community Partnership Grant & Hospitality Scholarship application deadlines are June 1st.

In 2007, the MCCA and State Senator Jack Hart launched the MCCA Community Partnership & Hospitality Scholarship Fund, a two-part program that allows all of Boston’s neighborhoods to benefit from consumer shows at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and established scholarships to boost workforce development in the hospitality industry.
