                                                 Official Call To Convention

The Florida Kiwanis District Convention is Going Virtual!

While we will greatly miss the interaction that comes from having our in-person convention, we are very excited about what we have planned in its place and hope you will join us for engagement, fellowship, fun, and education at our  Florida Kiwanis Virtual Convention (VCON).

Throughout the convention we will be providing a compelling keynote, a wide array of informative workshops, the presentation of the 2018-19 Club of the Year and more!

!! There will be no registration fee !!

In addition to education and fellowship, we also have some business to take care of such as electing our 2020-21 district officers. Our district bylaws provide for alternate methods of conducting the business of the district under emergency conditions. As such, we will hold a Delegates-at-Large session on Friday, August 14 (time to be determined). This meeting will be open to anyone who would like to attend but voting for our three unopposed candidates will be limited to our core delegates-at-large only. As stated in the Standard Form for District Bylaws, this consists of the current district officers and past governors who are active members of a club in the district.

Our convention, albeit virtual, will take place on Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15, 2020.

You will be provided with more information about how to access all of the features of this convention as soon as it becomes available but. for now, please save those dates!
